Artist Statement
The paintings of Edú are crafted from the perspective of a young soul. Using an ensemble of flawed characters who tend to be walking contradictions. Each color, stroke of the brush, splash of paint, and symbol found in the art works act as representatives of the message in the story. Using playful color palettes to accompany melancholic messages that create such unique and emotional inertia has allowed Edú to explore future "what if's".
