Quiet mornings at the ocean are perfect for self-reflection and downloading some clarity from whatever universal power fuels us to seek these answers. Today, it appeared that deep thought and wonder isn’t limited to the human species. While this pelican is probably more concerned with finding his next meal than wondering why he was put on this Earth, it was nice to join him for a few moments of quiet ocean-inspired awe, reflection, and gratefulness to be here.

Not just about how the photographer took it (who cares, right?), but about the feelings, lessons, and intuitive insights that can be felt by immersing yourself in that particular moment in time.
