Description
Petalouda (πεταλούδα) - 2023 is an acrylic pour composition based on the the Greek word for butterfly. It is associated with the Psyche who was a Greek goddess of the soul. The pattern on the painting is reminiscent of butterfly wings. The painting is meant to be an invitation to contemplate the nature of transformation.
