Artist Information
Bio
I am an abstract photographic artist living in London. After graduating in art photography, I pursued a successful career as a commercial photographer, working in fine art, theatre and music. In between working, I enjoyed exhibiting my personal work, including exhibitions around the UK and abroad.
However my love of photography had started long ago with my fascination with light and the natural elements of photography. So about 4 years ago, I decided to concentrate full time on my art and go back to my roots of natural light.
Since then I have been awarded the Fujifilm Photo Year book 2020, exhibited with The Other Art Fair and Saatchiart,  Roys Art Fair, The Talented Art Fair. Plus exhibitions at Candid Arts, 508 Gallery Chelsea, D Contemporary gallery Mayfair, Crypt Gallery, Mall Galleries London, Flux Greenwich plus exhibitions in Paris, Vienna, Barcelona and New York.

Artist Statement
My work is about capturing natural light when it is at its most playful and colourful by way of refraction. Achieved with todays digital cameras and yesterdays natural unaided photographic techniques.
I am very interested in architecture and I believe that art has a great ability to change how an area can feel and how you see it. So most of my work happens within an urban area. The very natural relationship of glass, reflections and refraction are the main elements of my work. I see what appears in the natural light but can also be  easily missed.
Glass is such a beautiful material. Urban windows offer such fascinating frames, showing  a representation, giving away so much but never telling the truth. What is inside? What is outside?
I seek to bring a unique perspective on city life through my lens without any filters or manipulation, instead waiting for the perfect moment of light  and reflection to show the hidden beauty of any simple urban area.
