Bio
I am originally from south Louisiana. My day job is as a teacher/educational specialist and on the side I paint with acrylic and take photos of nature. I grew up learning about art and learning different art methods from my mom. She is a fantastic artist and when I was little I would sit and watch and try to copy what she was doing. I started with pencil, charcoal, and ink and then found painting and photography. I live in West Seattle and love it here. Artist Statement
Art is more than about beauty, but is also emotional. I try to create paintings that evoke emotion. They usually express what I feel about something or how I feel at that time. My photography is about nature. I like to take pictures of nature that has texture and movement and brings me joy.
