Description
This mixed media emulsion transfer piece draws from photographs taken across Portugal, reassembled into a layered and fragmented landscape. Architectural details—tiles, windows, facades—intersect and collapse into one another, disrupting any singular sense of place. The process of transfer introduces texture, distortion, and loss, mirroring the way memory shifts over time. Familiar structures remain, but their context dissolves.
