Description
Be inspired by the combination of traditional charcoal and the modern impact of color blocking with this landscape of the Saguaro National Park. The colors of the traditional landscape have been pulled out of the scene and placed as block palette colors on the piece. Stripping the landscape of the sun's colors requires the viewer to see the land for all the texture it gives - its highlights and shadows, its rocks and plants - giving a new way to view a traditional scene.

Bio
Growing up in the Oklahoma Panhandle spending summers camping and visiting Arizona, Tasha Fay has long felt connected to the natural world around her. It is that connection that pushes her to honor the natural wonders in her work. She now lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and two cats.

Tasha Fay combines the edge of modern graphics and the emotion of black and white paintings with the everyday wonders of our natural world. With a focus on conservation, Tasha Fay’s artwork is designed to inspire the viewer to connect with nature by exploring its wonders. It is designed to be simplistic yet emotional. It shows the might of nature while providing peace in the knowledge of our place in it.
