Will Van Dyke
Bio
Will Van Dyke is a creative person, a writer, and an artist who is currently focused on ceramics, and on forms derived from rural and urban architecture. His ceramic work is currently in several galleries in the Midwest, including Lill Street Gallery in Chicago, Craft Alliance in St. Louis. Several of his corn crib and water tower works were included in a 2017 show entitled, “Architectonic” at Schaller Gallery in St. Joseph, Michigan. He received his BS in engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and a MA in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He began his ceramic studies at the Virginia Museum in Richmond and has most recently been studying at the Evanston Art Center and Lill Street Studios, in Chicago. He also participated at the International Wood Fire Conference at Waubonsee Community College in 2016, and the Advanced Mentoring Studies program in Ceramics at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass, Colorado. His work has been accepted at juried shows throughout the country
