Bio
I am an artist currently living in the Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland , WA. Although I’ve always loved art I didn’t start making it until about 15 years ago when I took cartooning and printmaking classes. Since then I’ve enjoyed working in many mediums including: pen & ink adding a watercolor wash; linocut printmaking, oil pastel and goauche. I love drawing and rendering representations of people, street scenes and landscapes. I’ve shown my work at local coffee shops and restaurants and also at Harborview Medical Center where I worked for many years.
Artist Statement
Nothing outside of personal relationships and nature gives me greater joy than making art. I think that if more people explored their own creative potential we’d have a happier world.
