Bio
Born West London 1952
Studied Art at West Surrey College of Art and North East London Polytechnic
Worked in East End with deprived children building adventure playgrounds for the Greater London Council
Has lived and worked in Israel, travelled widely in Europe and Indonesia.
Studied and worked with Craftsman Potters Association members, Michael Buckland and Denis Moore at the Greendene Pottery Studios.
Has taught painting and ceramics working with young offenders and private coaching.
Taught for many years for Kingston, Surrey Adult Learning and the Landmark Art Centre in Teddington
Worked with East Surrey College, Surrey Adult Learning as Assistant Curriculum Manager
Other work includes practical workshops and lectures on JMW Turner for Tate Britain
Artist Statement
Much of my work reflects the idea that places, landscapes, buildings and people bear witness to, and reveal the spirit of a place and I am trying to capture this and draw it out in the contemplation and practise of drawing and painting. Paintings on many themes: Places, Buildings, Landscapes
