Rachie’s work explores the blurred lines between nudes, sex and societal norms. Her work focuses on ideas of the male form, the female mind and how social and cultural constructs influence both. She is a graphic designer by day. Often the two worlds collide.
Rachie studied graphic design at Massey University, Wellington, NZ. After moving to London in 2005 she studied painting at Central Saint Martins while working as a graphic designer.
Rachie has exhibited at various London art galleries and art festivals including Mall Galleries and Oxo Tower Southbank, Ugly Duck, 5th Base Gallery and in New Zealand's Pit Gallery at BATS and Mercury Plaza.
