Artist Statement
As an artist, Lynne is a student of shape and color. Her work is boldly engaging. In her series "Birdhouse", she juxtaposes the natural world with man made interiors. In her "Birds in the Trees" series, she paints a natural habitat then adds different bird species that intermingle to create a striking image. Lynne's abstracts, combine patterns and form to create a more dramatic painting. She allows her paintings to evolve by working with layers and adding texture to bring a fresh perspective and sense of adventure to her work.
