Koko Lee
Bio
Koko is a Taiwanese Canadian freelance illustrator based in Seattle, WA.
For her illustrations, Koko combines textured calligraphy brush strokes and contemporary digital colours. She specializes in editorial illustration for magazines, newspapers, books, and branding illustrations for stores and shops. But she is always willing to challenge herself to work on projects for different industries.
In her spare time, she likes to solve the crimes of criminal TV dramas (before the detectives). She also likes to daydream about creating a rival to Hello Kitty featuring her own cat, Miko.
Artist Statement
Koko graduated from OCAD University (Ontario College of Art and Design University), majoring in illustration, in 2016 and has been working as an illustrator since. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Japanese that she has had the pleasure to work with clients in the US, UK, Canada, Japan, and Taiwan. Her past clients include Four Seasons Magazine, Virginia Living Magazine, Atlanta Magazine, The Stranger, Avenue Magazine, West Virginia University Press, Brownswood Recordings, Leap CO., LTD. (Japan), Foot Therapy CO., LTD. (Japan), and so on.
