Tacoma, United States

Bio

Jessica was born and raised in Portland Oregon. A true 80s baby, she grew up running the neighborhood until the street lights came on and drinking from the garden hose. Growing up with ADHD, art was a huge part of how she learned to focus her boundless energy. A true thespian, encouraged by her mother, Jessica studied music, theater, fashion, and traditional arts. Encouraged to focus her skills into a trade, she attended Benson Polytechnic High School and majored in Architectural Drafting and Design. After graduating and continuing her program at PCC, she found a love for the digital arts as well as continuing to hone her skills through art history, color theory, interior design, and traditional and digital mediums.

Eventually deciding not to complete her Architectural degree, Jessica moved to Tacoma in 2011 for a fresh start and a fresh environment. Her love of nature flourished in the PNW and she enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and anything that gets her outside. A member of the Tacona Gardening Society, she has continued to explore her love for art and nature by encouraging it to grow physically around her home.

It wasn't until 2020 and the Covid19 pandemic that she returned again to her brushes and her paints, looking for an outlet while staying home. She and her children enjoyed following along on YouTube or live classes and filled an entire wall in their home with 8"x10" canvases. She began to share her art on social media and immediately recieved requests for her art from friends and family. In 2022 she had her first gallery representation and opened an online store where fans could purchase originals and prints.
