Artist Statement

My paintings are created using raw pigment and oil on canvas to create a rich tapestry of colour and luminosity.

The images are informed by a variety of cultures and traditions such as the Celebration of Nature in Asian screens and lacquerware whereby multiple layers of paint are used to intensify the colour and Symbology
