Bio
Isaiah is a Chicago based photographer that makes photos of beautiful and intimate scenes. A computer hacker by trade, he picked up a camera in earnest in 2020 and it's been hard to pry it out of his hands ever since.
Artist Statement
I think the best words to describe my photography is "intimate". I'm looking for intimacy on all levels, be it the subject matter or my attempt to bring the viewer into the scene with me. I want to put the viewer in the scene and allow them to experience the same awe that encouraged me to actuate a shutter. Whether it's a saturated sunset or lovers embracing, I'm constantly searching for those beautiful moments that make us human or remind us that we are human. Even when I'm documenting more complicated scenes, such as a protest, I'm still looking for those intimate human connections that tie us together.
