Danielle Librera
Bio
Originally from N.J., calling Seattle home since 2010. I was a pastry chef in my former life and recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Art History. Watercolor and ink drawing is how I express myself artistically. You can often find me walking the city, exploring coffee shops and farmer’s markets with my husband, Brian.
Artist Statement
I like to call these organic, abstract watercolors. They originate with no intentions other than letting the creative process speak for itself. Working on them and watching the hues transform across the paper naturally is truly a carefree experience. While these paintings are of no particular place per se, they are more or less moods, atmosphere, and wild imaginations that take place when allowing art to come into form. In reality my art is all about water, time, and patience; because without them my creative process would be void.
