Bio
Brittney Sides (she/her) is a local freelance artist and illustrator who specializes in retro pin up portraiture. As a recent graduate from the University of Washington, she can be found at many of the local art and flea markets in the city.
Artist Statement
I have always had a love for all things vintage and retro. Though historically pin ups have been a form of art that is objectifying to women, I sought to redefine them in a way that not only empowered women’s sexuality but was inclusive to all kinds of people. In all, I hope my work is seen as playful and modern take on a timeless art style!
