Artist Statement
My work is based on images mainly collected on my travels around the world. They reflect the natural world and it's fragile state. These images are the starting point but the finished works become more abstract and colours are modified, often reflecting the mode of the subject, rather than reality. Colour and texture are key features
Most works are gouache on paper and small scale ( max 50x40)
