Artist Statement

I paint multicolored animals in vibrant scenes through my series, "Animalscaping," a fusion of "animal-scape" and "ing," exploring a surreal world beyond reality. Rather than replicating the familiar, my art aims to evoke new emotions, transporting viewers to an unreal realm.

As a passionate animal rights activist, the placement of animals in my paintings responds to environmental and societal challenges, sparking conversations about pressing social issues. My art conveys a compelling message about critical societal concerns, motivating viewers to engage with and respond to environmental challenges.

I strive to be an artist who prompts viewers to contemplate current environmental issues. The interpretive nature of art allows diverse meanings, but a common awareness emerges—depicted animals are under threat. Acknowledging the perilous situation of wildlife is crucial for transitioning from conflict to coexistence.

My deliberately chosen color palette, stored in containers, evokes tranquility and visual stability. Engaging in simultaneous work on multiple paintings, I infuse passion with impromptu and free-flowing vibes. My technique involves layering multiple paint layers using various mediums, emphasizing authenticity over visual appeal, establishing a distinctive artistic language.

As an artist, I feel a responsibility to challenge conventional boundaries, prompting audiences to reimagine perspectives and take action on environmental issues. My journey involves excavating new viewpoints to give animals a better voice, evoking positive emotions, and inviting contemplation.
