Artist Statement
I draw my sketches on paper or digitally, although it is finally painted digitally. Influenced by cartoons, my artwork is usually full of characters more than objects, and big smiles. I guess it is true that an artist reflects the own essence on the artwork produced as I am a smiling person, cannot help it!
Some of my favourite words: Smile, play, colourful, cosy.
My artwork is inspired by nature, daily life, and childhood. The colour palette is usually no highly saturated but softer to evoke comfort. Use of around twelve different colours per artwork as a maximum, depending on the complexity of it, is practically a rule to keep harmony on the visual. The execution shows a cartoon influence and kind of naïve characters, playful and energetic.
I thrive on evoking smiles and joy, and I wish for a positive world where diversity, empathy, and connection fit.
