Artist Statement

I have always been an emotional person who has worn her heart on her sleeve. Abstract Expressionism suits my personality perfectly! I love putting my emotions on the canvas with vibrant colors, crazy marks and bumpy-lumpy textures. Even though I'm pretty shy, I find a sense of liberation being vulnerable and overcoming some obstacles that have plagued me due to a severe hearing loss since birth. My process is intuitive, meaning I just go with my gut for everything! It's all authentically ME!
