Artist Statement

My abstract work is a constant exploration of how color, light and composition are all principles that are inherently fundamental in my artistic practice. Color is an energy signifier that regulates its own temperature. Light and shade allow for form to emerge upon the surface, so that visual perception can be experienced. Composition is a strategy of all these principles working harmoniously  together.
